We’re on the hunt for a friendly, music and DVD loving, experienced Office Manager/Receptionist to join the Shock team in a fulltime (Mon – Fri), permanent role. You’ll work in our offices in Kew, 8km east of Melbourne’s CBD.

You’ll also look after reception for all the Regency Media companies in the building (Shock’s just one of them) including Multiplicd, Media Technology, Kimchi Creative and Online Fulfilment Australia.

Everyday will be different, with new challenges. It’s a great team at Shock, with lots of different personalities. There are opportunities for career progession too, our current Office Manager is about to join the sales team!

Duties will include, but will certainly not be limited to:

* Reception / front office duties for all sections of Regency Media – meet & greet clients, manage switchboard, direct calls, manage all correspondence, mail, faxes, email, couriers
* Managing bookings for meeting rooms & arranging catering as required
* Assisting with accounts duties
* Managing general office administration, ranging from ordering all office supplies, managing office facilities, ensuring premises are presentable at all times
* Assisting with all office practices and procedures
* Booking travel for all staff, managing bookings and liaising with our travel agent
* Updating organisational memberships and directory listings, internal phone and email lists

To be considered for this position you must have:

* Strong administrative experience, preferably in a similar role
* A professional, “can do” attitude
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Sound Microsoft office skills
* Great attention to detail
* The ability to multi-task while remaining cool under pressure
* Exceptional demonstrated written and oral communication skills
* A passion to uphold strong customer service values
* Entertainment industry experience will be an advantage
