The Australian Music Prize shortlist announced

It’s your local music department here as pleased as punch that Shock Entertainment is once again well represented in this years Australian Music Prize shortlist.
Congratulations goes out to the 5 Shock acts (out of the total 9 nominees) that stand to win a whopping 30 grand just for being ace and putting out fine music.
Our nominees are:
Dan Kelly – Dan Kelly’s Dream. Masterpiece, could it be Dan Kelly’s year?
Eddy Current Suppression Ring – Rush To Relax. ECSR has already won an AMP Award but can they double their money?
Gareth Liddard – Strange Tourist – Another masterpiece and possible front runner.
Pikelet – Stem – Sensational release via our label partners at Level 2/Chapter Music.
Sally Seltmann – Heart That’s Pounding – Finally some freakin’ industry recognition for a brilliant record and very talented artist.
The winner will be announced on March 3rd and take home a hefty $30,000 cash prize thanks to principal partner PPCA. Previous winners have included Lisa Mitchell, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, The Mess Hall, The Drones and Augie March.
