   Had a dream a few months back that I’d win a fortune at the pokies, by only putting a $2 coin in the machine. Seeing as I was nowhere near a pokie machine the next day, I bought a $2 lottery ticket instead. No joy. Bugger.

   A week after my cat died, I heard meowing from the kitchen late at night. Turns out someone had left the stove on. Creepy stuff. (Also, hope I’m not too late for this competition!)
